He's big, strong and huge. The mexicans fear players like that.Simply intimidating. The guy scores as well. The downfall of this team in the 2006 WC was Bruce Arena's love and damaging loyalty to certain players.Mr. Bradley can't afford to make the same mistake or the results will be the same.Quaranta should have also started that match.Ching plays well, but when put in his role;he is a pure bred striker.A scavenger.Give him the ball in a good spot and he's too experienced to miss. However age is a factor. He can't be asked to run all over the pitch. That's someone else role.Donovan can't be asked to be a central defender...it won't work.Play the best players in their positions and that's it.We'll be fine. The game is simple and beautiful.ProfessorC180https://www.blogger.com/profile/17984511075338812163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-44586057981673161112009-07-31T20:45:31.351-07:002009-07-31T20:45:31.351-07:00If you think the 2. Bundesliga is more physical than MLS, you haven't watched MLS, well, ever.

I don't understand what going to a team that was relegated five years ago, and looks to be firmly rooted outside the top flight does for him. If he does well, he's still going to have to move to a good team in the 2. Bundesliga before getting into the top flight.

You don't see too many people who go straight from a middling second division team to a top flight team.Calebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07666997256155249895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-74721786432507688162009-07-31T13:20:45.242-07:002009-07-31T13:20:45.242-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16873006313354723945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-53119980628271984642009-07-31T11:23:51.366-07:002009-07-31T11:23:51.366-07:00sweet...I've been an 1860 fan for about ten ye...sweet...I've been an 1860 fan for about ten years now, and I like that they like to use american talentAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-1999659369386382142009-07-31T10:18:11.489-07:002009-07-31T10:18:11.489-07:00Congrats Kenny! Cooper is 24 and has a record of scoring a goal roughly every other game at every level he's played. If he keeps that up he'll soon be targeted by larger clubs. He's scored 4 goals in 9 caps for the national side, with most of his appearances coming as a substitute. So what is Bob Bradley's problem?

He gives this guy 45 minutes total in the entire Gold Cup and instead Ching, a decent MLS player in his 30s and nothing more now or in the future, eats up all the minutes in a supposedly "experimental" line-up. More like just a rubbish line-up. A rational person might conclude that Ching played himself off the team, but never underestimate the inexplicable blind loyalty of Bob Bradley to certain players. We would never have seen Davies or DeMerit if it weren't for injuries.

Mentally, tactically and physically, our team is ill-disciplines, disorganized and clearly unprepared for matches. The confederations cup run was just an aberration, the result of luck and the players taking things into their own hands. Sunil "Five-nil" Gulati should recognize Bob Bradley is holding this team back and do what's necessary - part with some cash and hire a real manager - Roy Hodgson would be perfect. I'll happily predict Project 2010 ABJECT FAIL if we maintain the status quo.i like tuesdayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16937874131639158974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-40289202232672094692009-07-31T09:27:39.212-07:002009-07-31T09:27:39.212-07:00WEEEEEW! germany will be great for cooper, they li...WEEEEEW! germany will be great for cooper, they like to play attacking football and he will score goals. fantastic move for him.CPBouncer1https://www.blogger.com/profile/15517411566472742066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5405744355603283473.post-72100357915768263512009-07-31T08:50:25.900-07:002009-07-31T08:50:25.900-07:00Really?
