- The title race gets closer again in Scotland, just when you thought Rangers would pull ahead after this past weekend. Today Rangers fought back from a goal down, salvaging a point against Hibernian. Maurice Edu again played the full 90 minutes for Rangers, who are ahead of Celtic at the top of SPL on goal differential (EDIT: Celtic are ahead of Rangers on goal difference).
- Late drama in Germany as Borussia Mönchengladbach grabbed a vital win against Energie Cottbus. Gladbach's Dante stole the 90th minute winner, as Michael Bradley's team moved three points clear of the Bundesliga trap door. Bochum and Bielefeld also lost, which mean 'Gladbach moved up to 14th place, three clear of the relegation zone.
Uh, Celtic are ahead on goal difference.
ReplyDeleteAnd honestly, why should the MNT blog be taking a stand on who wins what games? Form of an individual, sure, but form of a team? Seems unnecessary, esp when you're talking about taking sides on the Old Firm.
