Updated Roster

With Charlie Davies departing for FC Sochaux this evening to complete a medical and sign his contract, here is the updated roster for Saturday's quarterfinal against Panama

DEFENDERS (5): Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Clarence Goodson (IK Start), Jay Heaps (New England Revolution), Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew), Heath Pearce (Out of Contract)

MIDFIELDERS (8): Davy Arnaud (Kansas City Wizards), Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Colin Clark (Colorado Rapids), Sam Cronin (Toronto FC), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders), Stuart Holden (Houston Dynamo), Logan Pause (Chicago Fire), Robbie Rogers (Columbus Crew)

    Is the coaching staff going to call in any of the remaining 7 extras? Like Altidore, Clark or Bornstein? Hopefully not Sasha though....

    Wow this roster is a far cry from the team that took the field against Brazil...that being said I love seeing some of the guys get a chance to shine.

    Too early for a lineup prediction?

    USMNT Bloggers: does US Soccer have any say in the TV rights for the Aug 12 Mexico game? I hear it is on Telemundo and possibly Mun2 in english. Problem is, Mun2 is only available to those who have purchased the spanish channel package in the first place!!!!!

    Please work on a remedy to this!

    I don't think USSOCCER gives a sh-t about winning this thing. That said....having Euro based guys report to their teams for pre-season is better for the long haul.

    boo. i just dropped 60 bucks to see this comparatively crappy squad play on saturday. i will still support i was hoping to at least see Adu, Feilhaber and Davies. now i'm not even sure this squad can beat Panama. please call up a few players USA.
