The News: Reading dropped their home opener to Chelsea on goals from Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Of Note: Hahnemann was deemed blameless on goals that came three minutes apart in the second half. Not so for his counterpart across the field, Peter Cech gifting a goal to Andre Bikey just one minute after the defender entered the match in the 29th minute. Bobby Convey has yet to appear in the team sheet in Reading's first two matches.
