These 13 players are guaranteed to be on the Confederations Cup squad but will not play in the June 6 friendly.

Forwards (4): Alberto Gilardino (Fiorentina), Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus), Fabio Quagliarella (Udinese), Luca Toni (Bayern Munich, Germany)
The second squad consists of 21 players who will use the June 6 friendly against Northern Ireland to vie for the final 10 places on the Confederations Cup roster.

that'd be great if Rossi is on the Confederations Cup squad. It would add additional significance to that match.
