You ask - ??? answers!

We're going to try a different spin on the popular feature of having you submit questions for a specific player. Normally the formula goes like this:

1) We pick the guy
2) You ask insightful and entertaining questions
3) Player gives insightful and entertaining answers

This time out, we want you to ask questions about ... well, anything really ... and we'll match up the question with the right player to respond. Kind of like am e-mail grab bag.

So fire away!

I would like to know: After having played 3 of the top 10 teams in the world the past few weeks, what is the banter like on the field between players of different teams? I mean, obviously England's players spoke english but, we have several players that are fluent in Spanish as well. I just want to know what is said on the field, and if Argentina was as frustrated as they appeared? Im a big fan of the Premiere League, so if anybody has an example of some conversation they had with an English player during the match, that would be cool! Thanks in advance!!

I want to know what the day in a life of a european footballer (who has no family around)looks like. So you do training for 2 hours and then what? Naps, playing video games, watching games?

Having played against Barbados twice before (defeating them 7-0 and 4-0) and just playing some of the best competition in the world. Do you think it should be somewhat a surprise if (god forbid) Barbados keeps it to close for comfort in these next two qualifiers? And do you have any predictions or wishes about the scoreline for these two upcoming qualifiers?

This is a cool feature!

For any of the guys playing in Europe:
From watching interviews, I've found out that a lot of you were pleasantly surprised by being recognized on the street in Europe by fans of your club team. How often do you get recognized on the street in the US by fans of the national team?

Ask Heath Pearce if he is staying at Hansa for next season. He has played well in the friendlies so are other teams interested. Ask Freddy about the new manager and his future at Benfica. Also, ask what him and Gago talked about after the match. That Gago guy seems like a piece of work.

Will you ask clint and landon what their preferred positions are? Because it seams like they switch spots a lot. Sometimes Clint is out wide sometimes its Landon.

I would like one of the players to tell me what it's like to play for our country? I can't imagine how cool that would be and I would love for someone to tell me what it was like to go up against the best team in the world in front of a sold out crowd, and getting to dawn a U.S. soccer jersey?

My inquiry is about the the current fan support. At the England game we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the US supporters section. At Giants stadium we had the same reaction. Has the team noticed a growth in fan support at games? What are some of the players favorite chants? Also, Frankie Hedjuk's toss of his jersey into the supporters section at the England game was a memorable moment. Thanks Frankie!

I can say from personal experience that Steve Cherundolo might just be the best dancer! He has this move that he has been doing since high school where he starts with his hands on his knees and eventually gets them over his head in a circular motion while moving his hips like he is hula hooping. Maybe these guys can get him to do it and post it in the video section!
