TT - Punching the Time Card

One of the topics that fans love to debate about the U.S. team is whether or not enough players have been giving opportunities, the so-called "new blood" argument. Would it surprise you to know that after 11 games in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying cycle, at least 36 different players have at least one cap in qualifying alone? There's also been 14 different goalscorers, but that's for another post...

In any case, the question for you today is at the top end of the playing time spectrum. Which man has gotten the most minutes in 2010 qualifying? If you're feeling frisky, you can throw in the total minutes played while you're at it ...

I'm going to go with Beasley since he was the only normal starter to play in the T&T game.

DaMarcus Beasley, roughly 823 minutes, not counting stoppage time.

I think it is Michael Bradley.
Michael and Jozy are the stars of US Soccer in the very near future.

Michael Bradley has started every single game in qualifying.
