Post Match Sound
Obviously the team is disappointed not to take a deserved point from tonight's match in which they created several scoring opportunities and mostly held in check a potent Spanish attack that is now unbeaten in 17 matches and considered a favorite to win the 2008 European Championshiops. Nonetheless, the players were able to take positives out of an improved effort. Listen to Bob Bradley and several players as they reflect on tonight's performance.

Great game boys
a tie was not well-deserved against spain. spain dominated. we had one clear chance we should have scored, but they controlled every aspect of the game and deserved the win...
i can't understand the tactic of 11 men behind the ball.. even in our own half! we aren't good enough to eek out a tie (or win for that matter with a counter-attack.. especially when spain is playing a deep sweeper.) and our defending consists of jogging around and keeping shape... that's lazy and can be broken down easily.... we need to make other teams respect our attack, and force teams to defend us... they can't attack if they're busy defending... it worked in 2002, and we have better attacking players now than we did then...
How much stock do the US players/coaches put into earning a "point" in these friendlies? The US's play looked much crisper than the England game (especially in the 1st half with Adu up top) but the team's strategy in these European games seems to be: defend, defend, defend, hope for an opportunistic goal on a set piece. I love watching and supporting the team but am disappointed with the lack of creativity and risk on the attack (aside from Adu and Dempsey at times). Hopefully Donovan can add a much needed spark against Argentina.
Great performance but unfurtunatelly that's not enough, so keep up the good work and hopefully you'll score some goals for us against Argentina!!
It was a much better game, unfortunately, the U.S will always be a second rate team provided that our best athletes (in the States) do not play soccer...which is a crying shame. The MNT needs to focus more on the basics (like solid passing, positioning, and awareness). Remain Optimistic!!!
