The result was a largely domestic-based roster for the USA, the group proudly stepping up to the plate. Jimmy Conrad powered home a header to give the U.S. a 1-0 lead, and Landon Donovan launched on a brilliant run through the Mexico defense to seal the 2-0 deal in Glendale.
