Mexico head coach Sven-Goran Eriksson celebrates his 61st birthday today, and apparently his plans have caused quite a stir south of the border because the team has the day off from training. Club coaches, newspaper editorials, and even cartoons have taken shots in the latest attack on the embattled coach.
We'd just like to say that Eriksson has always been a class act and treated the U.S. team with respect as manager of both England and Mexico. Hopefully he found a quiet place to spend the day...

I don't know about the whole "respect" thing. He must not hold us in very high esteem if he's going to give his team a day of rest less than a week before playing us!
I hope the boys take note and show SGE we mean business!
