Dialed in at LAX

One of the benefits of modern technology is the ability to follow live soccer scores around the world. As the team waits at LAX to depart for Columbus, the coaching staff is monitoring the action of our foreign-based players as we close in on the announcement of 20-man U.S. roster for the match against Mexico.

So far it appears that our players have gotten today's games through healthy, if not victorious.

Stay tuned ...

You guys have been silent on the obvious issue: only a handful of the guys in camp this past month will factor in the Columbus roster. Eriksson named his 20 a week ago - why the delay?

That would be OUR players, IF not victorius.

Anyways, when can we expect to find out who is getting called into camp? Just give us an approximate day/time.

please tell me we'll at least know the roster by the end of weekend! the anticipation is something else. I mean, I assume everyone but Donovan would be back home between today and tomorrow anyway, since he's the only one (to my knowledge, anyway...) who's got a game on Sunday.

Steve Cherundolo won't be called up - he hurt his right hip, so your right backs for the game will be Hejduk and Wynne. Hejduk gets the start, how much you wanna bet?

Gooch is already in... and Bocanegra wouldn't miss a game like this unless he got hurt, so there's 3/4th of your back line.

Who do you think will start at LB? Heath Pearce, maybe?
