A Stroll Down Memory Lane...

Earlier in the week Studio 90 took a look at some classic U.S. goals from games against El Salvador. Now we're bringing those goals to you here, so enjoy. The goals come from different games spanning all the way back to 1993. Which is your favorite?

The best of the lot has to be McBride's 3rd goal or Beasley's second; great one-touch play.

McBride's side-net header.

I would say the best was either Ben Olsen's header goal from about 12 yards out, or Sasha Victorine's nutmeg on the keeper was sweet also!

No video of Lassiter's key away goal in 97 qualifying?

Amazing all the different PBP and commentator voices we heard. JP, Jack Edwards, Bretos, Stoner, Dave Johnson plus Seamus, Ty Keough, Waldo and Harksie doing color.

funniest: mcbride's 1st or 2nd one where the goalie and defender slam into each other, then lie dead on the ground.

best: Donovan's top of the box left-footed blast - poor lil goalie didn't even see it coming

We had already qualified if IRC when that match took place. I remember beating Canada in the previous match at a HS stadium and being home free.

Sampson had the team playing well then. Remember in a few months we beat Brazil on Preki's goal and crushed Austria in Vienna.
