Clint Dempsey grabbed his first goal of the season, coming off the bench to notch the equalizer in a 1-1 game against Portsmouth. Dempsey entered the game in the second half and, in the 87th minute, knocked in a cross at the near post to rescue a valuable away point for Fulham.
