And We're Back...

After short break, the team gets back into camp today. Some guys went home, while others hung around in the sun for the few days off. The roster of 20 features many players who took part in the Sweden game, with one notable inclusion: defender Frankie Hejduk. The World Cup veteran joins up with the team and will begin training tomorrow. The team will train in Carson for nine days before departing on Feb. 7 for Columbus. The guys are trickling in to the team hotel, and we'll be back later with all the goings on from Southern California...

Will Carlos and Clint and the rest of the guys abroad be joing them?

yeah, this is just to keep the out of season guys fit. BB will choose a few from this list to join the Euro guys for the game.

When do you think Bob will announce which players will be called in from abroad?

I really hope the vets are going to be called, this is Mexico not Sweden!

why bring in hejduk? he's already fit and the young guys can provide similar speed. Can't we get the experience from Europe? Also, where and when is specter going to show up?

Yep all indications will be that Howard, Donovan, Bocanegra, Uguchi, Dempsey, and Beasely will not only play but start. Maybe Edu and Adu make the trip back as well.

Oh good I thought the list on ussoccer.com was the actual roster for the game. I echoed Gabrielle's feelings about the difference between Mexico and Sweden. Thank you for clearing this up for me and for easing my tension =)
