Rennes Gain Ground on Lyon

Rennes and Carlos Bocanegra enjoyed a 1-0 victory over Grenoble this weekend, earning three points that came with the added boost of a Lyon draw. The French champions couldn't get by Lorient, drawing 1-1, and Lyon are now just two points behind the leaders. Up next for Rennes is match with Lille a week from today.
