Chad Marshall Out

Columbus Crew defender Chad Marshall has been forced to withdraw from the national team camp in order to continue treatment on an injured right knee. Marshall had experienced discomfort prior to the start of training camp in January, and the symptoms have not improved during the first week in Carson. Marshall will return to Columbus for treatment and further evaluation of his progress. The coaching staff is considering possible replacements.

I hope Chad feels better soon. I know players I sure would like to see get called to camp.

Wow, this camp has been a curse on central defenders, first Goodson, Gibbs, and now Marshall. Let's hope the trends does not continue and we can take down the Swedes comfortably. Jimmy Conrad might actually get his chance after all, unless Bob thinks he is too old.
