Photos from a Unique Training Session

As you may have seen during yesterday's episode of Studio 90 around 300 local South African kids and caregivers from different community projects attended Thursday's training session. The kids watched the full session, before coming down on the field afterwards to autographs and take photos with the players. It was a one-of-a-kind experience for the guys as well as the kids.

Up early again. Watching a Brasil vs France rerun on the SuperSports channel. This morning I watched a news story about the school districts adopting the countries in the Confed Cup. The children would do research on their country. Also, there was a soccer tournament were the boys and girls represented their countries. A lot of attention and opportunites have been given to the kids it seems, which is all good. All the construction going around here has given a lot of jobs to the adults also. Dang! Brasil scored on a PK. Anyway, we are looking forward to the opening game today and tomorrow we will head to Tshwane/Pretoria for the match of the day. Time for a little pay back from the 06 WC game. The USA was the only team the Italians could not beat in 06. Plus, the thug tactics used by the Azzuri should not be forgotten. Remember McBride!
