Small Bar in Chicago, an the Official U.S. Soccer Bars, hosted an unofficial party for the American Outlaws, a supporters group that had the joint rocking for hours the night before the game. Fans from as far apart as Seattle and New Jersey - and especially our new friends from Lincoln, Nebraska - drowned out the bar by chanting and singing through the wee hours. The Globe Pub, long a traditional soccer bar in Chi-Town, served as the gathering site for Sam's Army.
We certainly appreciate all the support from fans who travel the world to get behind the U.S. team, and moments like Friday night leave little doubt that the U.S. Soccer Nation is alive and kickin'.
