Feilhaber In To Face Honduras

U.S. head coach Bob Bradley has called Benny Feilhaber to the group that will face Honduras on Wednesday. One of seven roster additions following CONCACAF's extension of the U.S. pool to 30 players, Feilhaber made appearances in all five of the USA's matches in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, including a start in the final against Brazil. He arrived into D.C. last night and will take part in this morning's training session.

At this point, no other additions have been made for Wednesday's match.

I really like the way our young guys are stepping up and playing well for the MNT. Feilhaber is an excellent player will provide a lot of energy to the line up.
The Future looks great for the US and it is great that Coach Bradley is giving these guys opportunity to play!!!

I agree with KoKo. I like the way the younger players have stepped up to the plate to give the older ones some well deserved time off! & even thought there were people out there critizing Coach Bradley for the unusual move, I feel that it will work to our advantage and it's always a good change to see what the future US team will look like! Great job boys!

Feilhaber will def bring the energy, everytime I watch him play he is full of energy like he's on happy pills or something :) Can't wait to watch the game tomorrow night!

Good Luck!!!!!! Lets show the catrachos what we got!

When a coach has to make decisions on who will play because players are competing for not only starting spots but spots on the bench, it can only be good for the team. The players will be forced to push themselves to play at the highest level for every game and that will make the team better.
