It's a Good Thing The MNT Bloggers Weren't Flying the Plane

Well, for many reasons, but as a starting point because we flew to Dulles and not Reagan National. Also, we shared a plane with Haiti. Really nothing interesting to report there. They were first to board and sat in the back, the U.S. team sat in the front, and we're not sure a word was exchanged. Mostly because everyone slept the majority of the flight, which lasted about four hours and change. It's a 30-minute ride to the team hotel, and then back to business tomorrow to get ready for what is likely a pro-Honduran crowd Wednesday evening. Don't forget to get your homework done early - the U.S. game kicks off at 9 p.m. ET at RFK.

Read this blog this afternoon and then went out here in DC to do some sightseeing. As I was exiting the FDR Memorial at about 6:30 p.m. and walking to me car, who do I see getting off a bus in West Potomac public park... the Haitian National team. They were out walking around on this extremely run down public park grass. Said hi to a few of their guys, they seemed friendly, spoke surprisingly good English, and got a few pics. Wished them luck until they play the US and they said thanks.
