Parkhurst Recalled For Semifinal

U.S. coach Bob Bradley has recalled defender Michael Parkhurst to the squad for Thursday's semifinal against Honduras. The FC Nordsjaelland-based defender appeared in the USA's group games against Honduras and Haiti before returning to Denmark to start the league season. Parkhurst is the only addition to the roster, increasing the total to 19 for game day selection.

I knew Bob would have to recall somebody, but I thought Parkhurst was only available for the Final. Somebody needs to send a big "Thank You" to Nordsjaelland. Parkhurst will be missing their game with AaB, assuming we get past Honduras. No guarantee there.

Since Bob has the ability to call 30, does that mean he might call in the big guns for the final?

based on how he played earlier in the Gold Cup, I'm not sure how much he'll help us. I hope Conrad gets better soon.

BB will not call in the big guns, that is not the point of this tournament. How would you like it if you got 2/3 of the way through a project, then your older, better siblings were called in to finish it up. The goal here is to see how far THIS group can go, do they have the guts and smarts to make it through? Do not expect any calls unless there is another Conrad-like incident (Get better Jimmy!).
