I thought Bob Bradley's comment about shutting down Xavi spoke volumes about why we won. Spain couldn't control the midfield thanks to some tenacious, gutsy plays from our midfielders (way to go Bradely, Donovan, Clark and Dempsey!). I'm so proud of this team. This is the victory I've been anticipating for years. Stick it to the world soccer elite! More analysis here: http://lonegoal.blogspot.com

I hope all the guys know just how proud every one is back home. It is quite easily the best game I have seen from the US in my lifetime of following. The game has caught the heart of so many people here, many of whom are not even regular soccer fans. I truely think just after Dempsey scored that second goal, the whole world froze just for a second haha.

i was wondering if we could get some clarification on the rumors doing the rounds about michael bradley and the ref after game, it would help just to know the truth.

Im with you donovan2010, I really want to see Michael Bradley in the final. I was watching a video on youtube of the tackle and seriously that was the stupidest call any ref has made!
