The U.S. team is back on CONUS after a five-hour flight from San Jose. The scene on the plane was typical for a post-match journey: coaches reviewing a DVD of the match, a few players still amped from the match unable to sleep, while the majority took the opportunity to rest and get ready for today's training.
The team is now experiencing two of Chicago's most famous attributes: a) ample opportunity to enjoy the stunning skyline due to 2) snarling rush hour traffic. It's shaping up to be a beautiful summer afternoon by the lake, a perfect tonic to move forward in preparation for Honduras.
