Remember the electric crowd at Soldier Field? Landon Donovan setting the single-year point scoring record for the U.S.? Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey putting two past Doni, and the unbelievable final 10 minutes? Take a look back at one of the most highly viewed all_access pieces ever, the highlights of the 4-2 match on Sept. 9, 2007 in Chicago.
I am afraid that the only way for a coaching change is if we don't qualify for South Africa. Other than that, Bradley will remain in charge through the finals next year, and we can expect a repeat of 1998.
We are without a holding midfielder, and the head coach refuses to play the next closest player we have in Torres. We'll see Mastroeni, who I like, but he seems well past it at this point. Jose Francisco Torres PLEASE!
I too think that we can play Brazil well. However, it won't be achieved by giving the ball away ( by booting it up-field with a hope that Jozy creates something with it ) and then collectively defending. We can't keep Brazil at bay for 90 mins. No team can!
IMO, we absolutely need to hold the ball longer, which means that either Adu or Torres must play.
if we do not advance in this tournement coach should go! It is a pre run of the world cup if we cant do it now with this coach then when will we ever? I just want to see some passion on our side. All i hear was "It was a good result" losing is never good as long as we continue with a loser attitude we will always losers.
As the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States, U.S. Soccer has helped chart the course for the sport in the USA for more than 90 years. In this time, the Federation’s mission statement has been very simple and very clear: to make soccer, in all its forms, a preeminent sport in the United States and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.

When is the right time to decide if our current coach should take us through to South Africa 2010?
What should be the deciding factors?

I really think we can tie Brazil to salvage a point. We need to start making better tactical changes!!!!!!!!!!

This was a great game and the scoreline doesn't tell the full story. Playing Brazil is always fun and I look forward to the game.
