Some things to keep in mind for tonight's contest (live on ESPN and Galavision at 7 p.m. CT)
• Six players on the U.S. roster are carrying yellow cards into Chicago: Jozy Altidore, Carlos Bocanegra, Clint Dempsey, Frankie Hejduk, Sacha Kljestan, and Oguchi Onyewu. Should they receive another caution, it will result in a one match suspension.
• Honduras bring six of their own into Soldier Field with yellows: Victor Bernardez, Maynor Figueroa, Amado Guevara, Hendry Thomas, Danilo Turcios and Carlos Costly.
• With his 92nd minute goal against Costa Rica, Landon Donovan moved into a first-place tie with Brian McBride on the USA’s all-time scoring list in World Cup qualifying with 10 career goals.
• Donovan recorded the first multiple-goal game of his international career in a 4-0 win againt Honduras on March 2, 2003 in Seattle.
• Onyewu scored his first national team goal against Honduras, a game-winner in the 92nd minute that sent the U.S. into the final of 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup against Panama.
